I've known Pastor Rex D. Johnson since 1979, where he pastored the church I attended in Dallas Texas. I was a very young married person of only 16 years of age, but I saw first hand, this book in the making. The dynamics of this book is nothing short of a gift of God, because God has always, even under attack, worked in the life of brother Johnson. You can be sure that brother Johnson was guided by the Lord when he finally wrote this book. I was there when brother Johnson bore the worst grief I have ever seen....the loss of his first wife Denise and his son in a fire caused by a 17 year old boy, without a drivers license, hitting her from behind at a stop light. His daughter Misty was spared, Thank Jesus! I attended the funeral, which was my first, and I need to tell everyone that that day at the Gospel Lighthouse, God was most certainly persent to calm and heal his grief and ours. No matter what you have gone through, this book will lift you up and yes, even make you cry, but the presence of the Lord Jesus in the author and the book is certainly unmistakable. Thank you Jesus for the gift this book is, and thank you brother Johnson for the gift you continue to be to everyone, even if they have never met you personally, they will find Jesus in your you and your book.
